Kunst 05 Zürich International Contemporary Art Fair |

ZÜRICH, SWITZERLAND.-The former ABB factory building again provides Kunst 05 Zürich with optimal conditions for the presentation of contemporary art. The great number of visitors over the five days and the favourable sales figures confirm that Zurich as the Swiss economic centre is an ideal venue for such an event. The international contemporary art fair, Kunst 05 Zürich, again includes in its eleventh year a guest sector in the fair's programme and thus provides additional topicality. For this sector, ten young galleries from New York City were selected whose programmes are focusing on experimental and cutting-edge contemporary art. They show, apart from works with new media, also paintings and drawings by up-and-coming artists.
The galleries from NYC are presented at Zurich-Oerlikon in an environment of well-known galleries reflecting a multi-national range of visual art. Apart from works by renowned artists, the most recent trends of contemporary art are being presented. This programme appeals both to our primary target public, the receptive collectors from Switzerland and abroad, and to the urban and culturally interested visitors from Switzerland, particularly the metropolitan area of Zurich.
This year again, visitors have additional access to museums in Zurich, Winterthur and St. Gall with a combined ticket. The annual number of over 20`000 visitors from Switzerland and abroad confirm the philosophy of this fair and transform the halls at Zürich-Oerlikon into a lively art centre for five days.
