Multimedia Guide Produced by NOUS as the First Museum Application in the App Store

VIENNA.- Nous, Austria's most innovative multimedia guide provider, is developing a museum-guide for the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York based on Apple's iPod technology. This application will be the first museum application worldwide to be made available for download via the Apple App Store. The presentation will take place on the 8th of December in the Austrian Cultural Forum.

As of December the Austrian Cultural Forum will present the exhibition "The Artist As Troublemaker". The corresponding multimedia guides were developed by the Austrian company NOUS. In a combination of images, audio and video, visitors can access texts, interviews and images, both for the exhibition and for the Austrian Cultural Forum and its spectacular architecture. The guides are based on iPod touch technology and therefore guarantee the highest optical and acoustic quality.

This application for Apple iPhones and iPods will be added to the App Store in the coming days as the first museum application worldwide. For the first time a multimedia museum guide will be made available for free download in the App Store. All over the world everyone interested can access the contents of the museum guide and therefore of Austrian culture. Visitors to museums can now download the contents of the museum guide from the comfort of their homes and conquer the Austrian Cultural Forum with their private iPhones and iPods.
