BOSTON, MASS.- The Ellis Antiques Show ran for 49 years in Boston before closing its doors in 2009. The Boston Antiques Show ran for 21 years, closing its doors in 2001 in the aftermath of 9/11.

Co-producers Tony Fusco and Robert Four did honor to both historical shows by launching The Ellis Boston Antiques Show in October 2011. The show features 40 exhibitors of the highest quality, drawn from both previous shows, as well as many new additions. The range of offerings at the show has also been diversified and expanded to include an array of antiques, jewelry and decorative arts from Greek and Roman antiquities right up to the 20th century. Strong representation by some of the finest dealers in American art rounds out the offerings.

The third annual Ellis Boston Antiques Show takes place October 24-27, 2013 at The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for The Arts in Boston’s South End. The show opens with a Gala Preview presented by BNY Mellon Wealth Management on Thursday, October 24 to benefit Ellis Memorial, Boston's first settlement house. Located in Boston's South End, just a two-minute walk from The Cyclorama, Ellis Memorial has been caring for children, disabled adults, and families who live and work in the South End and adjacent neighborhoods since 1885.

This year’s special exhibit at the show will be offered by the New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), which is headquartered on Newbury Street in Boston. Founded in 1845, NEHGS is the country’s leading resource for family history research.

An outstanding Preservation Committee, comprised of more than 30 preservation organizations, historical societies and historic museums from the greater Boston area, supports the Ellis Boston Antiques Show.
