Egyptian New Kingdom Nekhbet Limestone Relief. Egypt. New Kingdom to late period, ca. 1550 - 400 B.C. Limestone relief depicting a vulture (possibly the goddess Nekhbet) perched on a basket. There is another partial basket on which he rests his tail feathers, this additional basket might have depicted a rearing cobra (representing Wadjet) Nekhbet and Wadjet were known as the "Two Ladies", representing Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt respectively.
