NEW YORK, NY.- Amol K. Patil: The Voices Cast in Dust
On view November 2026–October 2027

Mumbai- and Amsterdam-based artist Amol K. Patil’s The Voices Cast in Dust is a towering bronze sculpture depicting a melee of human figures merging into a single mass, a monument to the labor that underpins urban life and a reminder of the precarity that defines it. The Voices Cast in Dust is presented in collaboration with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA), New Delhi.

Nicolas Party: Landscape
On view December 2026–November 2027

Nicolas Party reimagines familiar subjects—such as landscapes, portraits, and still lifes—as highly stylized, often distorting perspective toward the uncanny. A monumental mural of a fantastical forest, Landscape brings the artist's vibrant, hyper-saturated palette and phantasmagorical imagery into the public realm at an unprecedented scale.

Alvaro Barrington: Western Beef-High Line

Resembling a rugged steel industrial billboard, Alvaro Barrington's new work swaps traditional commercial vinyl for colored plastic vinyl strips. Inspired by the rhythm of New York City’s streets and the sense of community found on its sidewalks, the artist frames this scene with plastic milk crates. As the sun sets each day and the light pierces the plastic, it reveals a glowing landscape that can only be experienced together, in person, at that exact moment.

Now on view

Marianna Simnett: Interlude
On view through September 2027

Marianna Simnett presents two radioactive-orange resin concession stand sculptures with screens that portray a stadium food vendor, singing an eerie song. By spotlighting this space and the vendor, Simnett turns the worker’s shift into a powerful and humanizing performance of agency, despair, and survival.

Alison Nguyen: Prior Occupants
Screens daily, on a loop, through November 16, 2026

In Prior Occupants, Alison Nguyen's new film for High Line Originals, co-commissioned with CHANEL Culture Fund, the artist explores the historical narratives that persist—and those quietly erased—within sites of adaptive reuse. The film traces the obscured history tied to the High Line’s severed fragment that remains embedded in Westbeth Artists Housing, the former Bell Labs.

Christopher Williams: MODEL (High Line Billboard, 18th Street and 10th Avenue, New York, 10011)
On view through November 2026

Christopher Williams presents a new work centered around the word “MODEL.” Based on an object from his enamel-on-glass series, Williams’ billboard appears industrial yet reveals a handmade brushstroke quality upon closer inspection. Juxtaposed against the luxury towers surrounding the High Line, the billboard forces a direct confrontation with modern real estate speculators and developers, asking: whose “model city” are we actually building?

Patricia Ayres: 2-18-5-14-4-1-14-3-12-15-14-6-5-18-20, 7-5-18-20-18-21-4-5-8-5-9-6-20-1, and 2-15-14-1-16-9-14-1
On view through May 2027

Patricia Ayres presents her first-ever outdoor installation, a series of three fabric sculptures. The titles are each a cipher for the names of saints, translated into a set of numbers akin to those given to prisoners, and reminiscent of serial numbers or clothing sizes. The towering works expand upon Ayres' interests in increasing scale, bodily form, constraint, and material resistance.

Ximena Garrido-Lecca: The Golden Crop
On view through June 2027

Ximena Garrido-Lecca presents a nine-foot corn cob water fountain, made of bronze. The artist dyed the water that trickles down the corn and between the kernels to have a neon yellow hue, a reference to the toxic chemical glyphosate and its effects on runoff water sources, highlighting the detrimental impact of industrial farming.

Derek Fordjour: Archetype I: Seduction, Archetype II: Servility, and Archetype III: Resilience
On view through April 2027

Derek Fordjour’s three painted bronze sculptures depicting Black figures—a boxer, a waiter, and a burlesque dancer—each in roles that vacillate between empowerment and exploitation, while remaining deeply entangled with systems of commerce, consumption, and control.

Derek Fordjour: Backbreaker Double
On view through November 2026

Derek Fordjour’s vibrant mural honors the energy and legacy of Black showmanship. The two drum majors' contorted bodies, teetering on the edge of physical possibility, highlight the tension between performative glamour and backbreaking labor.
