Related to your article on the McLean/Lee pocket watch being auctioned (https://artdaily.cc/news/123570/American-Civil-War-pocket-watch-given-by-General-Robert-E--Lee-to-be-sold-at-auction). Our analysis concludes the inscription on this watch was faked. You may find it beneficial to append or follow up on your original article. We have also reached out to the auction company for comment. https://pocketwatchdatabase.com/blog/2020/05/28/civil-war-era-waltham-watch-with-faked-robert-e-lee-inscription-to-be-auctioned-by-dix-noonan-webb/

Thank you for your excellent content. I have noticed since your founder died you are publishing more articles on sales, auctions and other commercial activity and less on cultural events; shame that. When I share an article to my Nonprofit Facebook page the beautiful picture that heads the article is replaced with your yellow and red logo. It really kills the interest in the topic as Facebook is a visual medium. It would be nice if you could change this. Thank you

About seized pre-Colombian jewels I will be very careful, next time I travel (if ever), NOT to take any of the Colombian jewels that I bought al Galería Cano in Bogotá. A poorly trained Customs officer could think they are stolen goods. One of the seized pieces is very similar to one of my brooches.

I think you would find a group of my works from 2010- 2019 of interest . They looked at our feelings of isolation due to over-dependency on technology. But this year they take on other layers of meaning . Iist here an email to send a few images? Allan Wexler Ronald Feldman Gallery

Greetings from the USA, I hope this email finds you safe and healthy during this unprecedented time. I am writing today in regards to Heikki W. Virolainen Marjatta, which I know resides at the Finnish Gallery. Would you be able to tell me if reproductions were ever made of her? The non-profit I work (YFU) for was gifted and exact copy of Marjatta several years ago. She stands just over 8 foot tall and is marked Marjatta II. Heikki Virolainen 1965-1989 on the base. Any assistance you might be able to provide is truly appreciated. I have done research, but have been unable to determine if his works were reproduced, and if so, to what degree. Photos are available should you need them. Thank you for any assistance you might be able to provide. Best, Jennifer

Your article about "Sean Henry's largest figurative sculpture exhibition to date at Salisbury Cathedral" contains a mistruth. "The exhibition is a modern updating of the pre-Reformation tradition of displaying polychrome figures and is believed to be the biggest single collection of polychrome sculpture in the Cathedral since the Reformation". The Cathedral admitted this was untrue as my "Odyssey" exhibition of polychromed carved wood figures in their 750 anniversary year of 2008 had more figures (35 in total). You should never believe everything you read. Once this kind of false info reaches the internet it is impossible to remove www.robertkoenig-sculptor.com
