Karbury's Auction House announces the spring online auction featuring Asian Antiques and Fine Art
This spring Karbury’s will share new estate items and Asian antiques on Invaluable and Live Auctioneers as well as EpaiLive.

LOS ANGELES, CA.- Driven by a passion for the diverse beauty of Asian visual arts, Karbury’s is a boutique auction house based in California. This spring Karbury’s will share new estate items and Asian antiques on Invaluable and Live Auctioneers as well as EpaiLive. This auction builds on the premier last summer and on the many years of work on the part of the auction house's small yet expert team.

“We are very pleased to offer a new curated group of collectibles, fine art and antiques. Highlights include the diminutive yet exceptionally beautiful Famille rose gilt vase with a Qianlong mark. We are particularly captivated by the remarkable square shape which is offset by four panels featuring delightful illustrations of children at play, accented by motifs of birds and peonies. The Fu symbol decorating the vessel symbolizes prosperity, good fortunate and happiness. This is a remarkable investor piece. As well, we are delighted to present the fascinating Blanc de Chine Sculpture of Guan Yin Standing on a Dragon. The extraordinary detail and elegant style of this sculpture of the Bodhisattva is truly compelling.”

Other highlights include our colorful Famille Rose Celadon Meiping Vase with a Qianlong Mark. This elegant plum vase is crisply decorated with three panels depicting figural groups, and embellished with ruyi heads with floral images, petal lappets, leiwen motif, key-fret borders and surmounted by a gilded finial, a delightful Gilded Bronze Buddha Statue, as well as a Wucai Qilin figure, and a wide selection of exceptional Celadon Vases from China and Korea.

The sale of 104 lots was put together with emphasis on reasonable and realistic estimates, with pieces carefully selected in direct response to what is of interest to the market and reflecting the increasingly sophisticated and discerning tastes of global collectors. Specializing in small lots, Karbury’s is committed to providing choices for both discerning art connoisseurs as well as novice collectors.

“Karbury's seeks to offer a curated selection of items for the established Asian art collector seeking a new acquisition, like the Celadon Garlic Head Vase or a Blanc de Chine Sculpture of An Immortal. We also offer beautiful heirloom quality items for the new collector such as the artistically decorated Jiajing Meiping Stoneware Vase. Karbury's seeks to be a destination for estate lovers, Asian Art collectors and those who are interested in fine arts and antiques.”
