LONDON.- The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, in association with Bonhams and Artwise, announced Cure3 2018, the 2nd edition of the acclaimed selling exhibition devised to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s research. Featuring original commissions by more than 80 international artists, Cure3 is an opportunity to buy covetable art whilst supporting the vital work of The Trust.

Co-Founded in 2005 by Tom Isaacs, The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT) is a charitable organisation created by and for people living with Parkinson’s. CPT has one bold aim – to find a cure for Parkinson’s. CPT funds and supports pioneering research into new treatments which offer real hope of a cure to the more than 10 million people living with the condition worldwide.

Tom lived an inspirational life with Parkinson’s, devoted to the cause of CPT. He was passionate about the Cure3 project from the beginning and it was Tom’s description of living with Parkinson’s as feeling like being ‘boxed in’ that inspired Artwise with the concept from which Cure3 was borne. Tom passed away on May 31st, 2017 and Cure3 2018 is dedicated to his memory and incredible achievements.

Cure3 will include a host of major new artists for 2018 and the addition of important names from the world of architecture. Each artist has been invited to create a unique artwork using a bespoke Perspex box 20cm3. The cube can be used in any way the artist chooses; as frame, support or to contain. Prices for these highly sought-after and collectable art works will range from under £1,000 to over £20,000. The cubes will be on view to the public at Bonhams, London from 26th – 28th October (with the Private view on 25th), and are available to purchase on www.cure3.co.uk from 8am on 26th October 2018.

Cure3 is devised by Susie Allen and Laura Culpan from Artwise, the dynamic curatorial team behind the original RCA Secret postcard project. Cure3 2017 was a critical success and raised more than £300,000 for CPT, securing plaudits from a host of international media including SKY News, F.T, How To Spend It, The Evening Standard, The Sunday Times, The Jose Observer Magazine, The Telegraph, The Art Newspaper Wallpaper* and World of Interiors.

Followed and supported by both established and new collectors, Cure3 is an unmissable addition to the international art calendar and an important way to support The Cure Parkinson’s Trust; by backing their essential work we continue the legacy of Tom Isaacs and his aim of consigning Parkinson’s to a disease of the past.
