Welcome to the New Artdaily

ArtDaily Changes its Form and Content. Our original logo, the format and the content that we have had have been updated and revised. They are now part of our history. Today we offer our visitors an online newspaper with better, wider and richer content. We are inspired to improve this newspaper by our love and passion for doing things well, for taking ArtDaily to new levels, and our desire to inform our readers what is happening in the world of art.
Support Never Before Received
ArtDaily was founded in 1996 and if you were to ask us how it has survived, we could almost answer that it was a miracle. Throughout this time, which has been long, there have not been advertisers, sponsors or benefactors to support us. We didn't think it necessary to look for them. Today things have changed, obviously.
More than a year ago we began negotiations with executives from the Milenio Group to host our website. Negotiations are usually long, and this one was not the exception. It was until this past December 25 when our website changed to Milenio's servers and we already had in mind the new ArtDaily.
Personally I am excited about writing, communicating and designing. And at Milenio I found Yadira Gonzalez, a great designer, with whom I could share this excitement and make the new design a reality. Yadira, saying it nicely, "is a cannonball designing with her iMac", quick and efficient. We had many other things to do: Give the reader more and better content, there I found Romeo Marquez, a professional that has coordinated every little detail with great enthusiasm and has put order to my ideas; Ulises Mujica and Gerardo Abdo also helped us with the programming. They're great and very professional people. The management part of the project was decidedly supported by Roberto Nuñez and Juan Ramon Palacios. The best thing about this story is that it was made possible by friendship not by money. The friendship with Mr. Francisco A. Gonzalez, CEO and President of Milenio and with Mr. Federico Arreola, Vice-president and General Manager of this group has opened their doors and made us feel at home. Many thanks to all of them.
I also thank Ignacio Villarreal, Jr. Yolanda Orrantia, Toni Del Río and Rocío Albers for supporting ArtDaily to be what it is. And obviously, the last will be the first, as the wise man says, thanks to our readers that inspire us to continue on this road.
