CHICAGO.- The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, presents Huong Ngo, through November 28, 2004. Reflecting on current international affairs, Huong Hgo makes objects, such as escape pods, space blankets, TV cozies, a hazmat suit, and safety posters, that highlight our desire for protection. They refer to the United States government's fixation with security, and how this near paranoia causes people to become insular and fearful of the world outside their own. Huong Ngo will lead a tour on Tuesday, November 9, at 6:30 pm.
