HAMBURG, GERMANY.- The reconstruction of the head of German buccaneer Klaus Stoertebeker is seen at the Museum of the History of Hamburg, 24 November 2004 in Hamburg, northern Germany. A French artist reconstructed Stoertebeker's face according to medical methods after a skull exposed at the museum and attributed to Stoertebeker. One of the evidences that the skull really belongs to Stoertebeker is a giant nail spiking the cranium, as beheaded buccaneers were treated in the time around 1400.
