What does the Bible say about Earth's age

What does the Bible say about Earth's age? I believe a few have ever gone through the matter completely. Let me pick out some bare facts. The Institute for Сreation Research has also taught us the idea of the Young Earth as an integral part of ministry. According to the Bible, the age of Earth has never been fixed because the Bible itself does not give us the exact date, has it? As a result, most Bible scholars who have ever attempted to get to the heart of this problem have ended up with very different outcomes. What if all the information needed is right in front of us but we're blind to read it correctly?

There were many sincere attempts to establish more or less precise dates based on a strong devotion to the inerrancy of the Word of God. Thus, a period of just a few years was estimated, dated nearly 6000 years after Formation. Somewhere about 15,000 years or so are the main figures that a trustworthy researcher reports even though they sound far too long ago.

Adam's formation initiates the genealogies but the question of time remains before Adam. The six days of Creation Week must, in fact, be of the same period as our days. The only hitch is that you can translate the Hebrew word Yom in different ways apart from a "day" but also as an indefinite amount of time, or even billions of years.

You could also repeat your question: "How old, then, does the Bible say the Earth is? "Indeed, no one knows for sure how much longer than a few thousand years ago the Scripture positions Creation. Some share other views, however, that are persuaded by radioisotope dating or the molecular clock of mutation rates, or any other convictions that do not come from the Scriptures.

If you are really trying to get a fair response as to how old the World is according to the Bible, you should first avoid twisting the Bible in order to suit the modern evolutionary theories about the past. Second, stop calling yourself "Bible-believing" Christians, and start identifying yourself as "Christians of the earth." You have to accept that the real truth regarding the age of the World may never be revealed according to the Bible. There are so many questions about our huge and amazing universe, and so few answers ...
