ST. IVES, UK.- Tate St. Ives presents This is International Modern Art - Jan Debbaut on Friday 28 January 2005, in collaboration with Falmouth College of Arts. Following the success of the first series of provocative discussions led by artists,curators and cultural commentators, this new series continues to explore the most current debates in art practice and history.

Jan Debbaut is Director of the Tate Collection with responsibility for acquisitions, research and the care of the Tate Collection. He was the Director of the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven from 1989-2003, overseeing the development of a new museum building which opened in January 2003 to international acclaim. He made significant additions to the museums's Collection and arranged a programme of international exhibitions including many British artists. Prior to his appoint at Eindhoven, he was Director of Exhibitions at the Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels from 1986-1989. Advanced booking is recommended for all events and activities.
