Tiancheng International announces highlights included in the Jewellery and Jadeite Autumn Auction
Lot 65: 3.03 and 3.01-Carat Natural Fancy Deep Yellow Diamond Earrings.



HONG KONG.- Tiancheng International Jewellery and Jadeite Autumn Auction will take place on 28 November, offering a dazzling array of treasures. Leading the auction is a 6.70-Carat Natural Fancy Deep Yellow Diamond of intense colour and vivacity. Another star item is a 10.18-Carat D Colour Internally Flawless Type IIa Diamond that boasts superb clarity and luminescence. The sale will also showcase a stellar line-up of jadeite pieces, including a pair of Jadeite “Double Hoop” Earrings and a Jadeite “Guanyin” Pendant, which would undoubtedly be worthy additions to any prized collection.

The Preview of the Autumn Auction will be held from 25 to 27 November (10am to 6pm), and the Auction will take place on 28 November 2020 (Saturday, 1pm) at 30/F Bank of China Tower, 1 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong.




HIGHLIGHTS:

6.70-Carat Natural Fancy Deep Yellow VS1 Clarity Excellent Polish and Symmetry Diamond Ring. Estimate: HK$ 3,500,000 - 5,500,000/US$ 450,000 - 705,000

Yellow diamonds originating from the prestigious Zimmi mine in Sierra Leone, West Africa, are highly sought-after for its exuberant hue, with an extremely rare tangerine tinge, resembling the bright colours of yellow jonquils in full bloom. In the current market, sizeable yellow diamonds of over five carats from Zimmi mine are exceedingly rare. This 6.70-Carat Natural Fancy Deep Yellow Diamond from Zimmi shines fiery gold glints with breathtaking weight, making it irresistible to connoisseurs the world over.

10.18-Carat D Colour Internally Flawless Type IIa Excellent Polish and Symmetry Diamond Ring. Estimate: HK$ 6,000,000 - 9,000,000/US$ 770,000 - 1,150,000
Only 1%-2% of gem-quality diamonds are classified as Type IIa, meaning that they are entirely devoid of nitrogen that endows them with a luminous translucence. Weighing over 10 carats, this D Colour Internally Flawless Diamond is not only excellent in both colour and clarity, but is also clear like pure, flowing water in a cascading fountain, a quality further accentuated by the majestic emerald-cut. With such a refined quality, together with the fiery lustre of the diamond, the present lot is set to capture the hearts of anyone who lays eyes on the ring.

Jadeite “Double Hoop” and Diamond Earrings. Estimate: HK$ 2,200,000 - 3,200,000/US$ 282,000 - 410,000
Creating jadeite “double hoops” not only entails high wastage but also imposes stringent demands on the quality of the jadeite boulder and preeminent craftsmanship. Therefore, every pair of jadeite “double hoop” earrings are the sublimation of Mother Nature and a tour de force of a seasoned artisan’s finesse in carving. With matching, interlocking hoops in a luxuriant green, the present lot is a masterpiece.

34.63-Carat Natural Colombian Emerald, Emerald and Diamond Earrings, Barney Cheng. Other emeralds and diamonds together weighing approx. 39.15 and 16.29 carats respectively. Estimate: HK$ 1,680,000 - 2,680,000/US$ 215,000 - 344,000
