GLASGOW.- In George Square, at the very heart of Glasgow’s city centre, you’ll find 53 selected galleries showing work of the highest quality. Regular favourites and exceptional new exhibitors will be side by side in the Main Pavilion whilst some of the most innovative Scottish talent will be on view in EXTENSION.

Glasgow Art Fair is the place to buy, sell and view art in Scotland. Whatever your taste or your budget, with over 1000 national and internationally renowned artists’ work for sale you’ll find a diverse range of modern and contemporary works in all media. Attracting visitors from all over the UK and beyond there’s no better place to get a sense of what’s going on in the art world today.

Following the success of last year, SPIN are back to talk to visitors about all aspects of enjoying contemporary art. Visitors will be able to browse through the extensive collection of exhibition catalogues and books in the SPIN library, and get information about exhibitions, venues and projects all over Scotland. SPIN will also be presenting an extensive talks and tours programme, full details of which are available by clicking here.

Glasgow Art Fair is delighted to be an integral part of GLASGOW INTERNATIONAL, Glasgow's first, curated and commissioning Festival of Contemporary Visual Art. This festival will take place across the city over twelve days from Thursday 21st April until Monday 2nd May, 2005. SPIN will be operating daily guided bus tours to Gi venues, leaving from right outside the Art Fair pavilion in George Square.
