Call for Entries for the 61st Annual Wabash Valley Exhibit |

TERRE HAUTE, IN.- The Swope Art Museum announces a call for entries for the 61st Annual Wabash Valley Juried Exhibition. The exhibit is open to all living artists working in any media who reside in Indiana or within a 150-mile radius of Terre Haute. Over $5000 in awards will be distributed.
This years juror is Susan Rosenberg, Associate Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Seattle Art Museum in Seattle, WA. Rosenberg has curated numerous exhibitions including the recent show Van Gogh to Mondrian: Modern Art from the Kroller-Muller Museum at the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA and the Seattle Art Museum. Rosenberg also served as Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. An expert in twentieth century art, she has also worked for the Brooklyn Museum, the Metropolitan, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Entries for the 61st Annual Wabash Valley Juried Exhibition must be submitted in slide or digital CD format only. The Swope will no longer accept hand-delivered works of art. Entries must be postmarked by June 22, 2005. The exhibit will be on view from September 17-October 22, 2005.
