|
|
Poul Pedersen: Affiche. 1987. Mixed media on paper. 42 x 29,6 cm.

SILKEBORG, DENMARK.-The Silkeborg Museum of Art presents Break-up, on view through August 26. In the west wing of the museum you can see a selection of the museum's Danish and international collection, supplied by borrowed works. The title - Break-up - marks that the participating artists all, voluntarily or forced, have experienced big changes in life, which have marked their art. Changes of home, country, language, artistic environment. But for them changes haven't let to loss of identity but to larger vision and diversity. Participating artists: Gordon Fazakerly, Terry Atkinson, Felix Rozen, Igor Vulokh, Yasse Tabuchi, Ursula Reuter Christiansen, Paul Gernes, Bjørn Nørgaard, Poul Pedersen, Per Kirkeby and Erik Hagens.
