BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA.-The Birmingham Museum of Art Print Fair 2005, the only fine art print fair in the Southeast, will take place September 10-11, 2005. The BMA Print Fair will give novice and experienced collectors the opportunity to meet highly regarded dealers from across the country and to see hundreds of works by major printmaking artists from all places and times. Ten national dealers have been invited to participate and will offer a variety of prints---ranging from Old Masters to Contemporary and from Asia, Europe and the Americas---to suit every budget.
The Print Fair will offer beginning collectors a chance to learn more about the types of prints that are available in their price range, explains Gail Trechsel, R. Hugh Daniel Director of the BMA. The experienced collectors will have the opportunity to raise their level of connoisseurship by interacting with specialists from across the country.
