MIAMI, FLORIDA.- A charcoal sketch of Pablo Picassos “The Three Dancers” was found two years after it was stolen. The work portrays a nude woman with outstretched arms. The finished painting is part of Tate Galleries collection. The sketch is valued at $200,000. Accordig to the police, the sketch was stolen from a yacht docked at a boatyard on South River Drive in Miami.

Detective Jeffrey Frau, of the Miami-Dade County police, said, "A subject ran into the yacht, grabbed the painting and just ran out through an open gate that was left unlocked, jumped into a car and fled."

Witnesses then reported a green sedan fleeing the scene. The thief got away but the police had a sketch of his likeness. The police then received an anonymous phone call giving the names of the four people involved in the theft.

Police talked with Antonio Serrano, who led them to Orlando Granados, who had the work of art. The police tried having an undercover agent buy the work from Granados and was later arrested.
