WAINSCOTT, NEW YORK.- Scope resurfaces this summer with its unique art fair in the East End with Scope Hamptons, July 13-16, 2006. Scope returns with over 60 international emerging and established galleries to its new 20,000 square foot location, the East Hampton Studios--a real-time showcase of the contemporary art world.

Building on last year’s highly successful Weekend of Art, Scope is proud to announce the official launch of the Scope Hamptons Summer Art Weekend 2006. Partnering with the Watermill Center, The Parrish Art Museum, Guild Hall, The Retreat, and the Music Festival of the Hamptons, Scope will host multiple benefits, receptions and tours in support of the community and local art institutions.

Like no other fair, Scope presents cutting-edge international art alongside a full schedule of museum-quality programming, special events, including an indoor interactive mini-Mt. Everest, performances and screenings. Scope Hamptons 2006 will be open daily from 11am to 8pm. Admission is $10 and Catalogues are $10. The Press and Museum shuttle will leave on Friday, July 14th at 10:00am from MoMa at the administrative entrance (Lauder entrance), 11 West 53 Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, and return to New York at 6:00 pm that day. Please RSVP to Sadie Weis at sadie@scope-art.com or 212.268.1522.
