LONG ISLAND CITY, NY.- In conjunction with the exhibition Ron Gorchov: Double Trouble, The Brooklyn Rail and P.S.1 co-present A Panel Discussion on the Work of Ron Gorchov. Part of the ongoing Fine Print series, the discussion focuses on a selection of the veteran artist’s work and his influence on a younger generation of painters. Panel participants will be painters Lydia Dona and Ben La Rocco, author and critic John Yau, and P.S.1 Director and curator of Double Trouble, Alanna Heiss. The discussion will be moderated by Brooklyn Rail publisher Phong Bui. Ron Gorchov:Double Trouble is on view at P.S.1 through November 20th.

Presented and co-organized with innovative publications from New York and nationwide, Fine Print: Alternative Media at P.S.1 is a series of programs involving panel discussions, readings, lectures, music, performance and play. All programs are recorded for the audio-archive on WPS1.org, P.S.1’s Internet radio station.

The Brooklyn Rail is a monthly journal of in-depth criticism and self-_expression dedicated to presenting a wide variety of perspectives on local arts, politics, and culture. This event is free with museum admission.
