MUNICH, GERMANY.- Contemporary art with a special power of expression can be seen from September 9 until October 31 at the Lichtpunkt Gallery in Munich, The Munich Art Gallery. Discovered at Art Cologne 2005, young artist Ekkehard Tischendorf now showcasts his works exclusively at a single exhibition.

From 1998 to 2003 Ekkehard Tischendorf studied painting under the influence of Arno Rink, Neo Rauch and the professors Dietrich Burger and Rolf Münzner at the Leipziger Hochschule for art design (HGB) where he graduated with diploma.

He shows work that stands out through powerful and clearly outlined colours. Most of the large format oil and acrylic paintings the artist creates, by the use of colour strategies, blurriness and glowing contrasted, outline a dynamic picture space. In the foreground, there is usually a person, often given a special strength of _expression as personality or even as a character portrait.

Lichtpunkt Gallery– The Munich Art Gallery under the management of Horst Ambacher mainly concentrates on contemporary arts. Not only sculpturors, painters and photographers find this as an exhibition platfom but also video-, performance- and digital artists. Alongside the exhibition business Horst Ambacher also consults costumers, publications and businesses as an Art-Consultant, and develops individually designed art concepts for them.
