GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present their new Multi-Estates Auction on Saturday, October 19th at 10am with a spotlight on more important jewelry from the collection of Baroness Gabriele von Langendorff, along with many personal items from the archive of General David Sloane Stanley, spanning his entire military career from a West Point Cadet, through the American Civil War, the “Indian Wars,” and beyond.

This, as well as an eclectic offering of Fine Art and Decorative Art, 20th Century Modern, Antique & Vintage Furniture, Textiles and Rugs, Collectibles, Asian Art, and Lighting will all be offered at Roland. Previews are set for Thursday, October 17th & & Friday, October 18th from 10am – 6pm.


Antique English Silver Vermeil Covered Urn. Estimate $7,500-$10,000.

Jewelry in the spotlight will include a Carnevale 18K & Simulated Gemstone Bracelet, Armand V. Carnevale 18K gold bracelet with simulated gemstones, unsigned, 439.6 grams inclusive, with fitted signed box. [8 1/2" L; 2 1/4" W]. Provenance: From the Estate of Baroness Gabriele Langer von Langendorff. Estimate $20,000-$30,000, a Carnevale 18K Gold & Simulated Stone Necklace, Designed as a wide flexible, graduating "V" shaped necklace composed of teardrop-shaped clusters and embellished with collet-set simulated stones, marked 18K and ACV, 391.4 grams inclusive, interior length 17 inches, length of front central cluster motifs 4 1/4 inches, in a signed box. Circa 1985. Provenance: From the Estate of Baroness Gabriele Langer von Langendorff. Estimate $15,000-$25,000 and an 18K Gold, Red & Colorless Simulated Stone Necklace, Designed as a flexible bib defined by colorless and red simulants, unmarked, tests for 18K gold, 282. grams inclusive, interior length 18 inches, in signed Harry Winston box. Circa 1990s, repair to one pendant evident, overall condition. Provenance: From the Estate of Baroness Gabriele Langer von Langendorff Estimate $10,000-$15,000.

In the art arena, Roland is offering a Samia Halaby (Palestinian/American, b. 1936): abstract oil on canvas, signed, dated and titled on reverse, #344, 1980. [Art: 35 3/4" x 35 3/4"; Frame: 37" x 37"]. Estimate $25,000-$35,000, a Guy Wiggins (American, 1883-1962): Street Scene, oil on canvas titled "Looking Down the Street in Winter, New York City," signed lower right. Provenance: With label Hammer Gallery, NY. Small 1" tear center left. Estimate $12,000-$18,000 and a Victor Khromin (Russian, 1948-2015): Figural Abstract - Oil Painting, Figural abstract study of people around a horse-drawn carriage, oil on canvas matted in floating frame, signed lower left, dated '08, by Victor Khromin. [Art: 30" H x 40" W; Frame: 38" H x 48" W]. Estimate $10,000-$15,000.


Meissen Allegorical Ornate Porcelain Ewer. Estimate $5,000-$7,000.

Others will include a Charles Levier (French/American, 1920-2003): "Sortie du Theatre" - oil on canvas titled "Sortie du Theatre" depicting six stylish women with theatergoers in the background, boldly signed lower right "Levier" and again on verso with title. Contained in a carved gilt wood frame which bears a partly printed and typewritten "Heidi Neuhuff Gallery" label. [Art: 39 3/4' H x 59 1/2" W; Frame: 49 1/2" H x 69 1/2" W]. Estimate $8,000-$12,000.


Russian Plique-A-Jour Silver Centerpiece. Estimate $10,000-$15,000.

Featured in silver and decorative arts are a Russian Silver Kvosh by Faberge, the large handle in boat form, having a jeweled handle and body, in the Art Nouveau manner, bearing Cyrillic hallmarks and name of maker. 15.6 ozt. [6 1/2" H x 6" W x 8 1/2" D]. Estimate $3,000-$5,000, an Antique English Silver Vermeil Covered Urn, silver vermeil urn, with acorn finial and acanthus leaf dome cover, the snake handles with facial mounts, with putti and scroll collar, having an English crest etching on one side. The cover rim reads "Makepeace, London", the hallmark on cover and bottom ring is for London, early 1800s. 121.7 ozt. [18 1/2" H x 13 1/2" W x 9" ]. Estimate $7,500-$10,000 and a Russian Plique-A-Jour Silver Centerpiece, having very colorful enameling in flowers and eagle crests, the flare-top bowl mounted on an open font on a splayed base with eight ball feet, bearing mark on lower collar of Pavel Ovchinnikov. [13 1/2" H x 10" Diam.]. Estimate $10,000-$15,000 and a Meissen Allegorical Ornate Porcelain Ewer, Antique porcelain ewer/vase, decorated with a mermaid, cherub, fish and sailing vessels. [25" H x 15" L].. Estimate $5,000-$7,000. And, in antique furniture, a 18th/19th C. Continental Ebony Table Cabinet, Antique ebony exotic and mixed wood table cabinet/vargueno, with Classical relief figures, lapis lazuli columns on drawers, decorated with intricate inlay, on bun feet. [28" H x 35 3/4" W x 16" W]. Estimate $10,000-$15,000, is featured.
