GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present their new Multi-Estates Auction on Saturday, December 14th at 10am featuring hundreds of lots from the Upper East Side NYC apartment of a very important NY philanthropic family. This collection includes fine art, decorative arts, rare silver pieces, antique furniture, women’s furs, designer bags, Hermes scarves & neckties and more.

In addition, a fresh collection of Fine Art & Sculpture, Decorative Art, 20th Century Modern, Antique & Vintage Furniture, Textiles, Silver, Gold and Silver Jewelry, Rugs, Collectibles, Asian Art and Decorative Arts, and Lighting, from multiple estates and private collectors will be offered. Previews are set for Thursday, December 12th & Friday, December 13th from 10am – 6pm.

Very unique decorative items from this NY philanthropic family collection include a Faberge Silver, Gold & Lapis Lazuli Cigarette Box, Moscow, accented with the Russian Imperial doubled headed eagle and gold swags, marks to base, cover, and French import marks on interior lip, 35 ozt. inclusive. [2.5" H x 7.25" L x 4.25" W] Estimate $5,000-$7,000, a French Gilt Bronze Mounted & Painted 19th century tall Case Clock, the circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals above the shaped case, painted with two figural and four landscape panels, on a rectangular stepped ebonized base. [7' 5" H]. Estimate $3,000-$5,000 and a Russian Rhodochrosite, Enamel & Jade Opener, Russian sterling silver, 14K gold, rhodochrosite, enamel and black jade letter opener, possibly by Leonid Kochergin, marks to collar. While, taking the spotlight in the classic car arena, Roland is offering a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner Convertible, near mint condition, approximately 57,000 miles, two door, standard Thunderbird 292 V8; Fordomatic 3-speed automatic transmission; retractable hardtop; red and white exterior and interior. This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner is an extraordinary find and a true piece of automotive history. Runs great, showcases limited use and careful preservation over the decades.
