LONDON.- RM Sotheby’s announced an exceptional selection of remarkable motor vehicles on display at its Rétromobile stand. The firm will mark the return of the European season opener with a special offering led by a spectacular 2011 Pagani Zonda Tricolore.

The 2011 Pagani Zonda Tricolore is the second of just three examples built and among the most desirable of all of the Zondas. Based on the fabled Zonda Cinque, this Tricolore boasts under 1,200 kilometres from new and is presented in completely unmodified condition. It will be sold via Sealed, RM Sotheby’s proprietary sealed bid platform, marking the first time a Tricolore will be offered in an auction environment.

This is followed by an equally special 2021 Ferrari Monza SP2, coming from single ownership and with just 2,800 kilometres from new. Configured via Ferrari’s Tailor Made department, the tastefully specified example is inspired by one of Ferrari’s iconic 250 Testa Rossas and is finished in Blu Swaters and Bianco Avus. The SP2 is a true highlight of Ferrari’s 21st Century offerings and will be offered via RM Sotheby’s Private Sales.

This is complemented by an exceptional trio of cars from Porsche. Offered via RM Sotheby’s Private Sales is a 2015 Porsche 918 ‘Weissach’ Spyder, which is finished in Paint-to-Sample Light Green paintwork over a black leather interior. Delivered new to France, it is Weissach package-equipped but specified without magnesium wheels, and has been driven for less than 475 kilometers since being delivered.

The 918 will be followed by an equally special 1991 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – DLS offered via Sealed, which comes from single ownership and has just 120 kilometres from new. “The Oppenheimer Commission” showcases both the owner and Singer’s unrelenting attention to detail through use of only the finest materials, including a number of one-off features never before seen on a Singer model. Named for the Oppenheimer Blue diamond, a 14.62-carat vivid blue diamond that is the largest fancy vivid blue diamond classified by the Gemological Institute of America ever sold at auction, it exudes class and sophistication. Boasting a 4.0-litre flat-six engine built in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering, this special machine offers a rare chance to acquire a unique example of what is widely regarded as the ultimate iteration of the air-cooled Porsche 911. Bidding will be open from 18-20 February.

On display at the Rallystory stand in Pavilion 1 will be a 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8, which is one of just 12e finished in Speed Yellow. Offered from 14 years of single ownership, this example was sold directly from Weissach’s Customer Racing Department to Porsche Zentrum Bielefeld in Porsche’s native Germany. Considered by many to be one of the finest iterations of Porsche’s venerable 964-generation 911 due to their undeniable motorsport lineage, this example is available for immediate acquisition via RM Sotheby’s Private Sales.

Also set to be on display on the stand is a 1996 Ferrari F355 GTS formerly owned by Michael Schumacher. Presented without reserve via Sealed, the Ferrari is offered from over 20 years of single enthusiast ownership and boasts Ferrari Classiche certification. Previously owned by Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacher, the car has been featured in numerous publications highlighting its Schumacher connection including Forzaand Ferrari World. Bidding opens on 4 February and closes during Rétromobile at 18:00 CET on Thursday, 7 February.
