The show features 60 works by 19 emerging and mid-career artists and designers.

NEW YORK, NY.- Bergdorf Goodman presents "A Room Just So," an exclusive exhibition curated by acclaimed NYC-based art advisor Natasha Roberts. On view from April 18 through August 4, 2025, on the 7th floor at Bergdorf Goodman, the exhibition brings together an international roster of artists, including Alex Anderson, Vicky Barranguet, Edgard Barbosa, C.J. Chueca, Jane Dashley, Jen Dwyer, Kamiesha Garbadawala, Leia Genis, Manuela Gonzalez, Katie Hector, Erin Kono, Kouros Maghsoudi, Thérèse Mulgrew, Hannah Polskin, Audrey Schilt, Jeremy Silva, CHiNGLiSH WANG, Darryl Westly, and Avery Wheless.

Set within the iconic luxury retail destination, "A Room Just So" reimagines domestic spaces as living galleries, where paintings, sculpture, furniture, and design objects seamlessly intertwine with the art of home décor. Through intimate interior scenes and evocative forms, the exhibition offers a fresh perspective on how art transforms the way we live.

The featured artists employ a diverse range of styles, from gestural abstraction and surreal figuration to sculptural pieces that merge form and function. While some works embrace bold color and expressive mark-making, others emphasize restraint, texture, and materiality, evoking a quiet, contemplative luxury. The interplay between organic and geometric shapes, soft and structured compositions, and traditional versus experimental techniques highlights the dynamic relationship between art and design. Together, their works create a curated yet eclectic vision of the modern interior—both deeply personal and aesthetically refined.

For over a century, Bergdorf Goodman has been a landmark destination for the most discerning clients, known for its commitment to craftsmanship, exclusivity, and timeless style. This exhibition continues that legacy, bringing together contemporary artists whose work bridges fine art and functional beauty, offering an elevated vision of interior life.

“This exhibition is about the quiet power of beautiful, thoughtful things—how art and design shape not just our spaces, but our state of mind. In bringing together these artists at Bergdorf Goodman, we’re creating a dialogue between the intimate and the iconic, the collectible and the lived-in,” says Roberts.

The gallery-style presentation is a rare opportunity for collectors and design enthusiasts alike to experience museum-caliber works in a setting that reflects the curated elegance of modern living.

"A Room Just So" is on view at Bergdorf Goodman from April 18 – August 4, 2025, on the 7th floor.
