GLEN COVE, NY.- Roland Auctions NY will present its first auction of the summer season on June 28th, 2025, with a rare Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Earthenware Pitcher taking the spotlight.

The Picasso pitcher is part of a private collection being included in the Multi-Estates auction, along with hundreds of other impressive items from multiple prominent estates, being offered along with Fine and Contemporary Art, Antique furniture pieces, 20th Century Modern, Silver, Decorative Arts, Asian Arts, Textiles and Lighting. Previews will be held on Thursday, June 26th & Friday, June 27th from 10am – 6pm.


French Sevres porcelain chargers, 19th-20th century, mounted in shadowbox gilt frames. Estimate $7,500-$8,500.

Highly notable lots include the Pablo Picasso Earthenware Pitcher, Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) Femme du Barbu (Bearded Man's Wife), 1953, (A.R. 193), terre de faience pitcher, partially glazed and painted, from the edition of 500, inscribed Edition Picasso, Edition Picasso and Madoura stamps, Estimate $5,000-$8,000, a pair of French Sevres porcelain chargers, 19th/20th century, mounted in shadowbox gilt frames. [Chargers: 17.75" Diameter; Frames: 23.5" H x 23.5" W x 4.75" D]. Estimate $7,500-$8,500, a pair Of French Porcelain & Wood Jardinieres, Pair of rosewood jardinieres with Sevres porcelain floral plaques mounted on each side, with bronze dore trim, 19th century, possibly Russian. Sold at Christie's April 20, 2010 sale, lot 262. Estimate $5,500-$7,500 and a Tiffany Studios Lamp with Leaded Glass Acorn Shade, Tiffany Studios New York Art Nouveau patinated bronze three-light lamp, circa 1905, with leaded glass acorn shade, stamped Tiffany Studios New York to interior shade, and marked Tiffany Studios New York and numbered 810 to base. [22" H x 16" Diameter]. estimate $8,000-$12,000.

Modern sculpture will have a showing with an Alessandro Pianon "Pulcino,"Glass Bird Sculpture, Alessandro Pianon "Pulcino", circa 1960-1969, Vistosi, Murano, Italy, Blown glass and copper. [9.75" H x 4" W x 6.5" D] LITERATURE: R. Barovier Mentasti, Venetian Glass: 1890-1990, Verona, 1997, p. 133, fig. 119 (similar example), estimated at $3,000-$5,000, while an exquisite Mantel Clock By Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA, Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA mantel clock, late 19th century, having a marble face and two kneeling figural supports, retailed by Edward F. Caldwell. [13.25" H x 8" W x 3.5" D; Fae: 8" Diameter] is estimated at $2,500 - $4,500 and a Cigar Store Indian Wood Sculpture, Life-size polychrome decorated sculpture of a cigar store Indian, early 20th century. [70.5" H x 30" W x 14" D], is estimated at $1,500-$2,500.

In the Fine Jewelry arena, Roland is offering an Art Deco diamond and platinum flexible bracelet, with millegraining, set with 3 marquise-cut, 6 baguette-cut, and 168 round (single and full-cut diamonds, total approximately 6.00 carats, 14.5 dwt. [7" L], Estimate $3,000-$5,000, a Tiffany & Co.18K Gold and Diamond Giraffe Brooch, 18K gold, diamond and sapphire giraffe brooch, modeled realistically, accented with round diamond set hors and sapphire eyes, signed a plaque "Tiffany & Co. 1991 Germany 750", 14.3 dwt. [2.5" H x 1.5" W]. Estimate $1,200-$1,800, an Emerald and Diamond Ring, Emerald, diamond and 18K white gold ring, centered by a stepped rectangle cut emerald, 8.59 x 6.13 x 4.28mm, approximately 1.50 carats, embellished with 8 baguette and 32 round brilliant cut diamonds, total approximately 1.95 carats, shank marked 18K, 5.3 dwt. [Ring size: 6.5]. Estimate $2,500-$3,500 and an Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Wristwatch, Art deco diamond, sapphire, platinum and 14K white gold bracelet, set with 110 single and full-cut diamonds, total approximately 1.30 carats, and 10 round sapphires, marked interior case platinum, woven foxtail bracelet marked 14KT., case and bracelet without movement 12.8 dwt. [5.5" Length]. Estimate $1,000-$1,500.

Antique furniture pieces will include a Rococo Baroque Gilded Parlor Settee, Rococo Baroque carved and gilded tufted parlor settee, en suite with the following, early 20th century, the frame elaborately carved with scroll and shelf motif, feathered arms and cabriole legs. Estimate $700-$1,000 and a French Bronze Carved Etagere, French bronze etagere with onyx and glass shelves, 19th century, with reed-form columns and curved legs. [56.5" H x 36.5" W x 15" D].
