Andrea da Montefeltro unveils visionary "Arcana" exhibition in Frontone

FRONTONE.- A breath of mystery and majesty today inaugurated the opening of the exhibition "Arcana: The Lion of the New Horizon" at the Castello della Porta in Frontone. In an afternoon that will remain etched in memory, the ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the beginning of a fascinating journey through the visionary sculptures of master Andrea da Montefeltro, who has been awarded the prestigious UN World Peace Prize in Art. The exhibition will remain open until September, offering an unmissable cultural experience.

The chosen date for the inauguration is not casual, but a profound and heartfelt tribute: June 7 celebrates the birth of Duke Federico da Montefeltro, one of the greatest figures these lands have ever known, and probably the Duchy's greatest patron of art and beauty. It is a special honor that the works of Andrea da Montefeltro, a spiritual heir to this glorious lineage, shine on such a significant date. To further seal this indissoluble bond with the territory and its history, all the sculptures in "Arcana" have been entirely crafted from the precious Montefeltro stone, a material dear to and symbolic of Federico's legacy.

Andrea da Montefeltro reveals himself not only as a sculptor but a true alchemist of matter, capable of infusing life into stone and transforming it into a universal language. His creations are not mere works of art, but true portals to unexplored dimensions, where steampunk aesthetics dialogue with Renaissance elegance and the depth of sacred geometry. Strolling through the ancient halls of the castle, from which the gaze wanders over the Apennine ridge, visitors will be captivated by the evocative power of works like "Old Ritual," which seems to pulsate with ancient wisdom, or "Contact," where the gear becomes a heart and matter elevates to spirit. Admire the enigmatic complexity of "Lumen Gentium," which embodies the human desire to explore the unknown; each sculpture is a visual enigma to decipher, a profound dialogue between art, science, and esotericism that alludes to celestial instruments, arcane mechanisms, and organic architectures.

This extraordinary immersive and intellectual experience is enhanced by the curatorship of Annalisa Di Maria, an internationally renowned scholar and expert on Leonardo da Vinci and the Neoplatonic aesthetics of the Renaissance. Her vision enriches the exhibition with a critical and symbolic dimension that makes it unique of its kind.

The event, organized in close collaboration with the Municipality of Frontone and Opera Coop, enjoys prestigious patronages, including those of the Club for UNESCO of Florence and ENIT, as well as local institutions. This recognition underlines the cultural importance of an event hosted in a village that proudly flies the Italian Touring Club's Orange Flag.

"Arcana" is not just an exhibition; it is an appointment with history, beauty, and mystery. A call for soul travelers, art lovers, and all curious individuals who wish to rediscover contemporary sculpture as a universal language, capable of narrating the past and projecting towards new horizons. Don't miss the opportunity to be transported into a world where every work is a revelation.
