Anchoring the sale were some of Princess Diana’s most iconic and rare fashion ensembles, many of which had never been seen at auction before. The event also featured a selection of significant pieces from British royal history—including garments worn by the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen Mother, and items dating back to the 1800s.

Other unforgettable moments include the sales of the Catherine Walker Coat Dress for $455,000, over 15X the low estimate, the 1995 Lady Dior Lambskin Handbag for $325,000, over 16X the low estimate, the Catherine Walker Falcon Evening Gown for $455,000, and the Photographed HEAD Scarlet Nylon Ski Suit for $317,500 over 10X the low estimate and the 1997 British Lung Foundation Sweatshirt, for $215,900, over 22X the low estimate; reaffirming Princess Diana’s enduring influence as a global style icon.
