Is This The Most Controversial Painting of 2006? |

LONDON, ENGLAND.- Regarded by some members of the esteemed New English Art Club as ‘lowering the tone’, Charles Williams’ work always raises eyebrows and puts a smile on your face. Following the recent London-based film ‘Scenes of a Sexual Nature’, Williams paints scenes also based around Hampstead Heath’s notorious goings-on. ‘In The Park' by Charles Williams NEAC features naked fun-loving people exploring the heath at night, and his other works, with titles such as ‘Are You Some Kind of Cult’ are as equally conversation provoking. The exhibition features more of Williams’ work as well as a wealth of other painting talent and opens on Friday 1st December at the Mall Galleries in central London, just off Trafalgar Square. The New English Art Club Annual Exhibition will take place at The Mall Galleries, The Mall, London 1st to 18th December 2006.
