LARNACA.- After two decades at the forefront of the cultural sector, internationally celebrated producer and cultural strategist Halime Özdemir di Larusso is stepping fully into view, firmly re-establishing creative roots in her birthplace: Cyprus.

To mark the 20th anniversary of her acclaimed production platform Producer 360°, Halime Özdemir di Larusso officially launches Magnus Tempus 360 on the island, a visionary cultural platform dedicated to forging new curatorial and collaborative pathways across the Mediterranean. Powered by Producer 360, with bases in Larnaca, where she now resides, and London, Magnus Tempus 360 arrives with a bold commitment to building enduring cultural infrastructure throughout Cyprus. Özdemir di Larusso states,

“I consider myself a custodian of vision, and I pride myself on that. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible artists and visionaries over the years and can say with conviction that Cyprus holds an extraordinary wellspring of cultural depth and creative potential that deserves far greater recognition. Magnus Tempus exists to harness and elevate that, not merely to reflect our reality, but to reimagine how we create, produce, and collaborate across the region.”

Magnus Tempus 360: Cyprus Launch & Cultural Activations

More than a personal milestone, Halime Özdemir di Larusso’s return signifies a strategic investment in the island’s cultural ecosystem. She is actively cultivating strategic partnerships aimed at establishing sustainable cultural programming across Cyprus, anchored between Larnaca, Limassol, and Nicosia, including underserved cultural geographies. The platform is designed to convene both local and international voices in a shared act of creative exchange.

The first major initiative under the Magnus Tempus banner is Ecoscapes: Navigating Interdisciplinary Dialogues on Climate and Mediterranean Futures, a UK–Cyprus cultural residency and symposium, co-produced with local NGO D6:EU and supported by the Cyprus Ministry of Culture. Taking place in Nicosia in November 2025, Ecoscapes will bring together curators, artists, and scientists to address pressing themes, such as climate change, migration, environmental justice, and cultural resilience.

Confirmed contributors include:

• Rebecca Lewin, Head of Curatorial Programme, Future Observatory at the Design Museum London

• Harun Morrison, artist and academic

• Alessandro Vincentelli, independent curator

• Halime Özdemir di Larusso, lead producer and cultural strategist

Open calls for two Cypriot artists and two Cypriot curators will ensure local expertise is placed at the heart of international dialogue. Applications open in July and August, with preparatory workshops scheduled for September and October 2025.
