NEW BRAUNFELS, TX.- Lark Mason Associates will present Beautifying Grief, a powerful and immersive new exhibition by local multidisciplinary artist JENKINS2D which will debut at The Meadow Lark, Gallery, 210 W. Mill Street in New Braunfels, on July 19 and run through July 25.

In a gesture of solidarity with the local community, all proceeds from the suggested $10 entrance fee will be donated to support flood victims in the Texas Hill Country. Funds will be distributed through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country in Kerrville to benefit the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund cftexashillcountry.fcsuite.com.

“We are honored to support the artist’s vision—and even more so, to use this moment to contribute to the urgent relief efforts following the devastating floods in our region,” says 37-year-old Lark Mason III. “While iGavel typically showcases historical and traditional works, we are delighted to present Beautifying Grief by JENKINS2D—a bold and contemporary departure that speaks to the emotional power of art in all its forms. His work is fresh, personal, and deeply resonant.”

Known for his vivid fusion of graffiti and nostalgic surrealism, JENKINS2D transforms personal loss into a visual narrative of dreamlike color and emotional depth. Beautifying Grief features kaleidoscopic works in electric pinks and dreamy violets, exploring how sorrow reshapes the soul—and how unexpected beauty can emerge from even the deepest pain.

The collaboration between Lark Mason and JENKINS2D is rooted in their shared dedication to enriching the cultural life of New Braunfels. Jenkins, a driving force behind the city’s Art Haus art fair, and Mason, a champion of historic preservation, are both deeply engaged in the community’s creative evolution—where art and heritage often intersect.

This new creative alliance also marks a fresh chapter in the rebranding of The Meadowlark as a flexible and welcoming exhibition space available for rent by artists.
A private artist’s dinner–sponsored by Noshly–and prepared by Chef Daniel Gaspar of Daffodil Culinary, will be held at The Meadow Lark on July 18.

32-year-old Johnny Duncan aka JENKINS2D is a Colorado-born, Texas-grown multidisciplinary artist. A Satellite member of the Blue Dozen Collective from Austin, Founder of First Friday New Braunfels, and creator of streetwear brand Chill Infinity, he calls New Braunfels home, where he creates kaleidoscopic works that are vivid, iconic, and deceptively simple. From murals, illustration, fashion, photography, and fine art, his work marries the attention-grabbing audacity of graffiti with nostalgic, classic cartoon imagery, inviting us into his universe of sorbet-colored grotesqueries and fantastic visuals. While Texas has been his base, JENKINS2D has exhibited in New York, Tokyo, London, and Denver.

Founded by Wes Osborne, Noshly is a tech start-up based in New Braunfels, Texas, that empowers independent chefs to create unique culinary experiences beyond the traditional restaurant model. It’s both a platform for chefs to launch unforgettable meals and a curated discovery engine that helps food lovers find one-of-a-kind dining experiences.

Established in response to the devastating floods that struck the Texas Hill Country in 2025, the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund provides critical financial assistance to individuals and families affected by the disaster. Administered by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Kerrville, the fund supports local recovery and rebuilding efforts through direct grants and community partnerships.
