The World Through AI
Sesc Campinas, November 27, 2025 to April 26, 2026
In partnership with Jeu de Paume, this large-scale exhibition critically examines how artificial intelligence is shaping the ways we see and understand the world. Featuring works produced since 2016, the show draws a distinction between analytical AI (e.g., facial recognition and machine vision) and generative AI (which creates images, texts, and sounds). The exhibition includes time capsules presented as cabinets of curiosity, linking todays innovations to historical precedents. With contributions from artists including Hito Steyerl, Agnieszka Kurant, and Christian Marclay, the exhibition interrogates AI's ethical, environmental, and artistic dimensionsinviting viewers to question both its potentials and perils.
Through these three landmark projects, Sesc São Paulo reaffirms its role as a catalyst for cultural innovation, forging international bridges across disciplines, territories, and futures.
