PARIS.- The Selected 20/21 auction will gather a curated selection of masterpieces, chosen to highlight the vitality and diversity of modern and contemporary artistic creation.
Among the highlights of this second edition will be Cocks Comb (1961) by Alexander Calder (estimate: 300,000 500,000), a painted sheet metal sculpture that embodies the light and poetic power of the American artists celebrated stabiles.
Alongside it, Marc Chagalls rare canvas Maternité sur fond bleu (1976) (estimate: 460,000 560,000) will unfold the lyrical dimension of the artists pictorial language.
