LOS ANGELES, CA.- The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures today announced the election of Anla Cheng to its Board of Trustees.
As the governing body of the Academy Museum, the board leads the museum toward a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies, in addition to securing adequate resources to advance the museums mission.

Anla Cheng is the Chair, Founder, and CEO of Serica Initiative, LLC, whose mission is to amplify AAPI Voices. Anlas career includes work at Goldman Sachs, as Asia Institutional Division Head at Robert Fleming, and at Citi as Asian Portfolio Manager for both the Institutional and Private Wealth Group. Then, she founded and ran Centenium Capital Partners, an Asia Hedge Fund of Funds. Ms. Cheng received her MBA from the Wharton Graduate School of Business.
She is the Vice Chair of The Nature Conservancy Asia Pacific Council and Vice Chair of The China Institute. She also founded and served as the CEO of SupChina and The China Project. She is a past Trustee and current member of Committee of 100; past Chair of Facing History; past Global Council member of Brookings; and past member of the Columbia University Global Council, China. She is also a former Trustee of MOCA; the Riverdale Country Day School; The Browning School; and the New York Community Trust.
