PEASMARSH, SUSSEX, UK.- Heather Mills reported the theft of paintings worth around $19.5 million from her county retreat to the police. The alarm codes were also changed. Heather Mills later learned that Paul McCartney had removed the paintings from her home. Since the alarm codes were changed, the alarm was activated once Heather Mills tried going into her home to make preparations for the New Years celebration. It was then that the police arrived quickly. Heather Mills called her lawyers to alert them on this.
Paul McCartney reportedly sent a text message to Heather informing her that he was moving the works for security reasons. A friend of Heathers stated, Heather is staggered. Several pictures, including Renoirs and Picassos which have been hanging on the walls for months, have been taken. Photos of her and Beatrice have also vanished. Heather cant believe things have got this bad. Shes not fussed about the pictures. She is more concerned about the family photos that have been taken. Among the works were some Picassos and Renoirs.
