NEW YORK, NY.- Christies' presents Magnificent Jewels, a live auction taking place on 10 December at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The sale will showcase exceptional private collections and a meticulously curated selection of historic and contemporary jewels from the world's most iconic houses, including Bulgari, Cartier, David Webb, JAR, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, and more.

Leading the sale is the previously announced Rockefeller Kashmir, a rare Cartier Art Deco Sugarloaf Cabochon Sapphire and Diamond Ring weighing 17.66 carats (Estimate: $1,500,000–2,500,000). Offered for the first time at auction from the Property of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd, from the Collection of Sandra Ferry Rockefeller.

The sale also features Elaine: The Collection of Elaine Wynn, a widely admired figure of style and philanthropy, known for her transformative influence on Las Vegas's cultural landscape and her lifelong advocacy for the arts and education across the United States. Her collection includes a spectacular array of white diamonds and richly saturated gemstones—led by an emerald-cut diamond ring of 27.19 carats (Estimate: $1,200,000–1,800,000) and a Bulgari Emerald, Cultured Pearl and Diamond Necklace (Estimate: $120,000–180,000).

Additional highlights include an exceptional Pair of Sapphire and Diamond Earrings with Kashmir sapphires of 12.61 and 11.92 carats (Estimate: $1,500,000–2,000,000), Property from the Collection of Max and Cecile Draime, comprising a Tiffany & Co. Paraiba Tourmaline and Diamond Necklace (Estimate: $400,000–600,000), and Elegant Jewels from the Collection of Maureen Dwyer Smith, highlighted by an Emerald and Diamond Pendant Necklace (Estimate: $120,000–180,000) and a Fancy Yellow Diamond ring of 23.47 carats (Estimate: $200,000-$300,000). Other notable collections include An Important Private Collection of Antique Jewelry​ including an Antique Sapphire and Diamond Necklace (Estimate: $100,000 -150,000), Elegant Jewels from the Collection of Joan Hartley Hotchkis, featuring fine colored gemstones and signed creations by the greatest makers, including Bulgari and David Webb, and Property of a West Coast Collector featuring a Van Cleef & Arpels Diamond 'À Cheval 11-row' Bracelet this bracelet was formerly in the collection of Brooke Astor (Estimate: $150,000-250,000).

Jewels by JAR will make a significant appearance, with nine lots coming to market for the first time. Highlights include JAR Ruby and Diamond Earrings, featuring cushion, oval, pear, and round rubies with round diamonds (Estimate: $400,000–600,000), and a pair of Garnet 'Orange Peel' Brooches designed as orange peels with round orange garnets, silver, and yellow gold (Estimate: $100,000–150,000), offered from Joy in Design: Property from an Important Private Collection.

Adding a touch of cinematic allure, the sale includes jewels from legendary Hollywood collections, among them a diamond ring gifted to Elizabeth Taylor by Eddie Fisher on her 30th birthday, a Bulgari colored diamond and diamond ring featuring a fancy vivid yellow marquise brilliant-cut diamond of 2.62 carats (Estimate: $120,000–180,000), and Frank and Barbara Sinatra's engagement diamond (Estimate: $800,000 – 1,200,000​), a timeless emblem of Old Hollywood elegance.
