| Artcurial launches major December auctions spotlighting modern and contemporary masters |

PARIS.- From December 5th to 10th, 2025, Artcurial celebrates modern and contemporary art with a program of major auctions bringing together leading names from the 20th century and artists from the contemporary scenes.
On Tuesday, December 9th, two auctions will offer collectors a complete overview of modern and contemporary art.
The Impressionnist & Modern Art auction (2pm) will spotlight some of the most renowned names in modern art.
Art collectors will be able to discover Le vieux port de Touques, painted by Eugène Boudin, alongside major works by Amedeo Modigliani, Raoul Dufy and Suzanne Valadon. A remarkable collection from the Sheva & Jacques Biezin collection, including several works by sculptor Chana Orloff, will complete this selection.
The Modern & Contemporary Art auction (6pm) will bring together major works from the 20th and 21st centuries, including pieces by Paul Gauguin, Camille Pissarro, Rembrandt Bugatti, Francis Bacon and Andy Warhol. A special chapter of this auction will be devoted to Une Collection Familiale Française, bringing together works by Henri Charles Manguin, Louis Valtat, Georges dEspagnat and Moïse Kisling.
On Wednesday, December 10th, Artcurial will hold another auction day, featuring post-war and contemporary works.
The auction of sculptures from the Château de Vascuil (11am), will feature an exceptional collection of monumental sculptures by artists such as Victor Vasarely, Philippe Hiquily, Salvador Dalí and Antoniucci Volti.
The exhibition of sculptures will be held at the Château de Vascuil from December 5th to 9th 2025.
Serge Poliakoff, Richard Lin, Lucio Fontana, Anna-Eva Bergman and Daniel Buren will be among the artists presented during the Post War & Contemporary Art auction (2pm), offering collectors a rich and varied overview of this artistic period.
The day will continue with the Twenty One Contemporary sale (4:30pm) dedicated to the international contemporary scenes and contemporary African art, featuring a cut-out cardboard work by Eva Jospin, a sculpture by Xavier Veilhan, a painting by Aboudia and a portrait by Omar Ba a work on paper by Yoshitomo Nara, and a painting by Zhang Xiaogang.
The session will be concluded by the auction 50 Bricks for Madagascar (6pm) offering brinks decorated by contemporary artists such as Invader, Yves Dana and Patrick Rimoux, with all proceeds going to the Association Écoles du Monde to support the construction of schools in Madagascar.
