MIAMI, FLA.- Cavalier Ebanks Galleries – a longtime favorite at Art Miami – is once again presenting a dynamic roster of artists whose work is drawing early buzz. Standout artists include, William Nelson, Bjørn Skaarup, Adam Umbach, Jim Rennert, and, Debranne Cingari, all featured at booth AM424 and each bringing a distinct perspective and fresh energy to the fair.

William Nelson, Buckle Up, 2025.

Known for paintings that revel in contradictions, William Nelson creates cinematic paintings that fuse unexpected figures – like Hollywood icons and comic-book motifs – into tense, high-energy scenes. His work plays with contrast, nostalgia, and narrative, capturing viewers much like a film unfolding on canvas.

Bjørn Skaarup, Lion Tamer on white.

Internationally celebrated for his monumental bronze sculptures, Bjørn Skaarup’s work blends classical technique with playful storytelling inspired by mythology, history, and pop culture. His iconic Hippo Ballerina and newest works The Flying Turtle (Bane of Aeschylus) and Victory Lap showcase his ability to make characters feel both majestic and whimsically alive.

Adam S. Umbach (American, b. 1986), Whalebone, 2024, oil and acrylic on canvas, 30 x 36 in.

A dynamic force in contemporary art, Adam Umbach’s pop-forward paintings reinterpret Americana through bold color, humor, and cultural critique. His latest pieces explore nostalgia and identity with a fresh, electric energy that sparks conversation.

Jim Rennert, Commute.

Jim Rennert’s bronze sculptures reflect the pressures and ambitions of everyday professional life, using ladders, suits, and briefcases as symbolic anchors. His work creates an emotional bridge between the fast-paced corporate world and universal human experience.

Debranne Cingari, This Ain't Our First Rodeo.

Drawing inspiration from various muses, Debranne Cingari’s Little Words Project merges landscape photography with charming assemblage elements and uplifting aerial phrases. Her pieces transform familiar scenes into playful, imaginative narratives that invite joy and curiosity. A life-long collector, her love of objects has led her to introduce assemblage to her photography, a marriage that has sparked an intriguing new series of work.

Cavalier Ebanks Galleries’ commitment to championing diverse and exceptional artists makes their Art Basel Week exhibit one not to miss. Check them out at Art Miami at booth AM424 or at their locations in Palm Beach, FL, New York, NY, Nantucket, MA, and Greenwich, CT.
