Curators: Alenka Gregorič and Felicitas Thun-Hohenstein in collaboration with Sydney Fishman from the Marina Abramović Archives and the ULAY Foundation.

ART VITAL–12 Years of Ulay / Marina Abramović presents the most extensive account to date of the twelve-year collaboration between Ulay and Marina Abramović, from their first performance, Relation in Space (1976) at the Venice Biennale, to their symbolic farewell performance, The Lovers (1988).

“I have never before had an exhibition that contained so much documentation, so much exposure of my inner self. The curators went through my archive and Ulay’s. I did not want to have any control over what they would choose,” said Marina Abramović.
