ART VITAL12 Years of Ulay / Marina Abramović presents the most extensive account to date of the twelve-year collaboration between Ulay and Marina Abramović, from their first performance, Relation in Space (1976) at the Venice Biennale, to their symbolic farewell performance, The Lovers (1988).
I have never before had an exhibition that contained so much documentation, so much exposure of my inner self. The curators went through my archive and Ulays. I did not want to have any control over what they would choose, said Marina Abramović.
