DALLAS, TX.- There’s something for every jewelry lover in Heritage’s May 4 Spring Fine Jewelry Signature® Auction. Distinguished by remarkable depth, vibrant color and world-class craftsmanship, the auction features a dazzling assortment of diamonds, an extraordinary array of rare gemstones and iconic designer jewels.

Anchoring the auction is an outstanding selection of diamonds spanning a full spectrum of color and form, from classic white stones to vivid yellow, delicate pink and rich brown hues. Among the top lots is a Cartier fancy intense yellow diamond ring with a 20.03-carat stone as its showstopping centerpiece. Only 1 in 10,000 diamonds has a fancy color, making this stone one of the rarest on Earth. Joining the stunning Cartier creation are two other fancy yellow rarities: a Van Cleef & Arpels fancy intense yellow diamond ring centered by a beautiful 6.88-carat stone and a fancy yellow diamond ring with an 8.27-carat center stone.

Rounding out the colored diamond highlights are a lovely 6.45-carat faint pink diamond, a 4.93-carat light pink diamond and a 10.85-carat fancy dark yellowish brown diamond. Other diamond standouts include a platinum ring featuring a pear-shaped diamond weighing 7.50 carats, an 18k white gold ring with a 12.90-carat round diamond, a platinum ring centered by a 4.71-carat emerald-cut diamond and a platinum and 18k gold ring featuring a sparkling oval-shaped diamond weighing 4.90 carats.

The auction also brings together an impressive selection of Kashmir, Burma, Ceylon and Padparadscha sapphires, alongside vivid Burma rubies and richly hued Colombian emeralds, many of them notable in size and quality. Leading the gemstone lineup is a gorgeous platinum ring featuring a 6.59-carat octagonal-shaped Kashmir sapphire. Renowned for their velvety texture and cornflower blue hue, Kashmir sapphires hail from the high-altitude Zanskar Range of the Himalayas and are among the most coveted gemstones in the world. The Kashmir stone at the center of this ring presents royal blue in a particularly pure expression, with American Gemological Laboratories denoting the example as Classic™ Kashmir Origin. Another Kashmir sapphire can be found in this exceptional ring, this time in the form of a 10.01-carat cushion-shaped stone.

The stone at the center of this circa-1969 Oscar Heyman brooch is another standout sapphire. Oval-shaped and weighing 18.34 carats, the sensational yellow sapphire anchors the colorful composition, which also features blue sapphires, emeralds and rubies. Other sapphire highlights include a 13.20-carat Burma sapphire ring, a 1.42-carat Padparadscha sapphire ring and three Ceylon sapphire rings — one featuring a 23.00-carat Ceylon yellow sapphire, one with a 15.00-carat Ceylon pink sapphire and one featuring a 15.15-carat stone displaying classic Ceylon blue coloration.

Among the ruby highlights are two Burma ruby rings, one with an 8.97-carat ruby cabochon and one with a 3.04-carat cushion-shaped ruby. Neither stone shows any indication of heating, a desirable and rare trait in rubies.

The auction also features three outstanding Colombian emerald rings, one centered by an eye-catching stone weighing 25.00 carats, one featuring a 17.48-carat stone and one with a 4.19-carat center stone. For centuries, Colombian emeralds have occupied the apex of the emerald hierarchy, revered for chromatic saturation seldom equaled by material from other localities, and the stones in these rings are no exception.

Complementing these standout gems is a curated selection of signed pieces from iconic houses including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, David Webb, Aldo Cipullo, Hermès, JAR and Verdura, each offering timeless elegance and distinctive design.

There is also a wonderful selection of whimsical pieces, chief among them a playful pair of circa-1952 Cartier brooches, one in the form of a limited-edition cowboy duck and the other an even rarer Native American duck.
