NEW YORK, NY.- Christie's announced a dedicated selection of Fendi Baguette bags to be offered as part of Handbags Online: The New York Edit, the sale will open for bids online on May 28th and conclude on June 11. The curated group, comprising approximately 20 examples, celebrates one of the most iconic silhouettes in contemporary fashion and reflects the enduring cultural impact of the Baguette since its debut in the late 1990s.

Drawn from notable private collections, including pieces previously from The Collection of Elizabeth Taylor and examples from Into Archive, the selection showcases the breadth of Fendi's craftsmanship across decades, from early 2000s embellished designs to rare 1990s sequined and fur variations.

Among the highlights is a Red, White & Black Embellished Canvas Floral Print Baguette (estimate $3,000-5,000), circa 2000s, previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor, offered with its original style ID and care card. Also featured is a Brown Cuoio Romano Leather Selleria Baguette (estimate $3,000-5,000) with Sterling Silver Hardware, accompanied by care cards and tags from Christie's 2011 Collection of Elizabeth Taylor auction.

From Into Archive, standout lots include a Metallic Silver, Beige, Black & White Patchwork Sequin Baguette, circa 1990s (estimate $3,000-4,000); a Black Satin & Leather Embellished Baguette, circa 2010s (estimate $3,000-4,000); and an Orange & Black Spotted Fur Baguette, circa 2000s, complete with dust bag (estimate $3,000-4,000). The sale also includes playful additional multicolor beaded Baguette bags and sequin evening Baguettes, both from the 2000s.

Estimates across the group range from $2,000–5,000, offering collectors and fashion enthusiasts an accessible opportunity to acquire one of the most recognizable handbag designs of the modern era.

Handbags Online: The New York Edit. Is open for bidding through 11 June, the sale features an exceptional selection of collectible handbags from Hermès, Chanel, Dior. The top lot of the sale is a Matte White Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Birkin 30 with Palladium Hardware (estimate: $90,000–120,000).
