The auction was held online and live in the Woody auction hall located at 130 East 3rd Street in Douglass, and featured over 340 lots of quality antiques, as well as consignments pulled from 18 curated collections located across the United States. Around 40 people attended the event live, and were able to enjoy the zero percent buyer’s premium for in-person bidders. In addition, there were about 9,500 online bids, split between bid.woodyauction.com and LiveAuctioneers.com.

The 100-piece sterling silver flatware set by Reed and Barton in the Francis I pattern was housed in a quality silver chest with lid and two drawers. The solid sterling items weighed 3750 grams, while the items with sterling handles and a stainless body weighed 1800 grams. The total weight of the flatware was 5500 grams and 28.2 pounds. The $9,200 selling price was within estimate.

"Multi-genre auctions are always fun because they meet the needs of so many collectors and resellers,” said Jason Woody, the president and owner of Woody Auction. “We had great participation in this event." He added, "It was good to see antiques like Findlay Onyx items and Royal Worcester do so well. We believe that younger collectors are beginning to see the merits of owning historical pieces."

A Rookwood art pottery vase dated 1922, model #1369B, 14 inches tall with a blue matte jungle design and artist signed Edward T. Hurley, changed hands for $8,625, which was more than double the $4,000 high estimate.
