RM Sotheby's announces exceptional early consignments for it's Abu Dhabi auction
Amongst the early consignments are a low-mileage Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M; a Swiss-delivered Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale; a 2006 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1 HGTC; a 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano; and a 2004 Lamborghini Murciélago.

ABU DHABI.- RM Sotheby’s announced the first consignments for its upcoming Abu Dhabi auction on 9 December 2026, bringing together a carefully curated selection of cars that reflects the enduring appeal of automotive design, performance and heritage. Led by a compelling line-up of Ferrari models, the early consignments offer a glimpse into a sale that celebrates the passion for collecting and the craftsmanship that defines the world’s most admired automotive marques.

Taking place in the UAE capital, the auction underscores RM Sotheby’s continued commitment to the Middle East and its ambition to bring exceptional collector cars to an increasingly passionate and sophisticated audience. Working closely with Sotheby’s, RM Sotheby’s continues to strengthen its presence in the region, connecting automotive enthusiasts and collectors with extraordinary opportunities.

“The Middle East continues to be an incredibly exciting market for collector cars, and we are delighted to bring such an exceptional selection to Abu Dhabi this December. Our close relationship with Sotheby’s allows us to connect with an extraordinary community of collectors, bringing together a shared appreciation for heritage, craftsmanship and exceptional objects. We look forward to welcoming both established and new collectors to what promises to be a very special auction,” says Duccio Filippo Lopresto, Managing Director, MENA, RM Sotheby’s.

Leading the first consignments is a 2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, bringing Ferrari’s focused approach to open-top performance to Saadiyat Island. Presented in its launch colours, this North American-delivered example has covered just 5,200 kilometres from new, has been maintained exclusively by Ferrari and is offered in excellent condition with comprehensive documentation (estimate: $700,000-$850,000).

Alongside it, a Swiss-delivered 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale offers collectors another defining chapter in Ferrari’s modern performance story. Showing approximately 32,000 kilometres, it benefits from a strong service history and is accompanied by its books and tools (estimate: $450,000-$550,000).

A 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano takes an equally distinctive approach, combining an Extra Campionario Ivory Cream exterior with a Brown interior and extensive carbon-fibre detailing. This Middle East-market example, currently registered in the UAE, shows 39,900 kilometres and has been reported in very good condition following a specialist inspection (estimate: $140,000-$200,000).

The 2006 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti F1 HGTC pairs paint-to-sample Gris Violet with Cuoio leather. Its extensive specification includes the HGTC package, Daytona seats, a full Alcantara dashboard and bespoke interior detailing. Showing approximately 58,000 kilometres, it is accompanied by a full service history and original order documentation (estimate: $80,000–$120,000, offered without reserve).

Beyond Maranello. A 2004 Lamborghini Murciélago adds V-12 power to the line-up, pairing a 572-horsepower, 6.2-litre engine with the highly desirable six-speed gated manual transmission and four-wheel drive. Delivered new to Japan in February 2004, this left-hand-drive example is accompanied by its books and manuals, including its Warranty Card (estimate: $400,000-$450,000).

Rally heritage comes courtesy of a 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione “Martini 5”, number 388 of just 400 built to celebrate Lancia’s fifth consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers’ title. Wearing the signature Martini stripes, it underwent extensive recommissioning in May 2022 (estimate: $120,000-$150,000, offered without reserve).
