RICHMOND, VA.- The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts presents VMFA Studio School Faculty Exhibition 2007, September 10 - October 19, 2007. This special VMFA Studio School exhibition features recent work by members of the Studio School faculty. Artists whose works are presented are Jeffrey Allison, Jorge Benitez, Sally Bowring, Ann Chenoweth, Sara Clark, Diana Detamore, Joan Elliott, Ruth Farrall, Cate Fitt, Pam Fox, Regula Franz, Travis Fullerton, Peter Giebel, Steven Glass, Robert Greene, Susan Hankla, Mary Holland, Rosemary Jesionowski, Shelley Jones, Laura Loe, Jeanne Minnix, Amie Oliver, Chris Palmer, Marjorie Perrin, Julia E. Pfaff, Diego Sanchez, Frank Saunders, Anne Savedge, Chuck Scalin, Mim Golub Scalin, Jude Schlotzhauer, Hil Scott, Jay Sharpe, Pam Shelor, Georgianne Stinnett, Mary Swezey, David Tanner, Jake Urbanski, Rudi Racenis Winebrenner and Dennis Winston.
Visitors to the exhibition will see outstanding works in a wide variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, pottery, printmaking, jewelry, fiber arts and mixed media by some of Richmond's most accomplished artists. This annual exhibnition provides an opportunity for students to view the work of the Studio School faculty and select a new instructor, medium or direction in which to work. The Studio School Gallery is at 2911 Grove Avenue. There will be a free public reception for the exhibition Friday, Sept. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m.
