TRENTO, ITALY.- Galleria Civica di Arte Contemporanea of Trento presents Joan Jonas. My Theater, on view November 25th through March 2nd. 2008. The exhibition was curated by Anna Daneri, Cristina Natalicchio, and Roberto Pinto.

My Theater if the first solo exhibition in Italy by the famous American artist Joan Jonas after her presence at the review Concetto, Corpo e Sogno at Rivoli Castle in 2006. The art show, made by Galleria Civica di Arte Contemporanea of Trento in collaboration with Fondazione Antonio Ratti and curated by Anna Daneri, Cristina Natalicchio and Roberto Pinto, offers an overview on her multiform artistic production. It will be possible to visit it at the Gallery from November 25, 2007, to March 2, 2008.

Exhibited, to outline the complex creative course of the artist, My New Theater, one of her most renown Mirror Pieces, and in a national preview the installation coming from her performance last July in Como, on the occasion of the Superior Course of Visual Arts: The Hand Reverts to its Own Movement. To complete the exhibition there will be a selection of historical videos.
