ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS.- The Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen presents "Photodocs," on view through November 3rd 2002. Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen presents a number of exhibitions wich reflect the diversity of photography as an art form. Highlights from the museum’s photo collection. The museum has an impressive collection of (art) photography. Highlights include work by Rieneke Dijkstra, Cindy Sherman, Sharon Lockhart, Helena van der Kraan, Johan van der Keuken and many others. The heydays of corporate photo books in the Netherlands ’Photography and business’ presents a retrospective on books of photographs made for and by large companies. It visualises the development of the way companies present themselves, social and aesthetic issues and the changes in business-photography over the years. Contributions by Paul Huf, Ed van der Elsken, Cas Oorthuys and many others. Wally Elenbaas and Esther Hartog, Ine Lamers and Edgar Cleijne. This presentation shows different generations of work by three of Rotterdam’s most obstinate photographers.
