Plains Art Museum Names Rebecca Seelig Executive Assistant |

Rebecca Ann Seelig, who lives in Fargo , has a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Philology and Anthropology from Beloit College , Beloit , Wisconsin.

FARGO, ND.- Plains Art Museum has named Rebecca Ann Seelig to the position of executive assistant. Seelig reports directly to the Museums new director/CEO Colleen Sheehy . Seelig supports the director/CEO, the board of directors and staff in a variety of ways, including coordination of meetings, supplies, travel and capital campaign functions.
Seelig, who lives in Fargo , has a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Philology and Anthropology from Beloit College , Beloit , Wisconsin . She has an extensive organizational support background including with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges and the National Center on Full Faith and Credit, both in Washington , D.C.
Vice president of development and marketing, Joni Janz said, Rebeccas high level of communication and organizational skills are essential to the efficient use of Museum resourcesmaking possible our goals of better serving our visitors and continually improving our programs.

Museum programs are made possible, in part, by major funding from members of Plains Art Museum , The McKnight Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The Museum plans to significantly expand its programs through its Little artist in all of us campaign. The campaign is raising funds for the Creativity Center for Lifelong Learning which includes Fingerprints Interactive Education Gallery and working with Fargo Public Schools and other educational entities to build teaching studios. The campaign is also strengthening operations by enhancing the Museums endowment and visitor services .
