BATON ROUGE, LA.- On Wednesday, Jan. 7 from 7-9 p.m., Baton Rouge Gallery, in conjunction with the American Institute of Architects Baton Rouge, held a First Wednesday Opening Reception for its January 2009 exhibit: The Process Behind the Project. The event celebrated The American Institute of Architects - Baton Rouge's Rose Award winners. The show recognizes design excellence by local architects in the categories of architecture, interior architecture, renovation, master planning, detailing and projects under development.
The Rose Awards are given each year honoring excellence in architecture design. January's exhibition at Baton Rouge Gallery will not only feature the 2008 Rose Award winners, but also a number of other unique projects recognized by the American Institute of Architects - Baton Rouge. During the exhibition, the work of many architectural firms will be represented, including the 2008 Rose Award winners: Trahan Architects, Holly & Smith Architects, Inc., WHLC Architecture and Remson Haley Herpin Architects. The exhibition will be available during the gallery's regular hours through Jan 29 and is free and to the public.
